With the continuous advancement of science and technology, the use of machines in various industries is increasingly recognized, and machines can accomplish tasks that are impossible or too time-consuming for humans. This not only extends the lifespan of the instrument but also reduces the occurrence of malfunctions, ensuring its normal operation.
So, what maintenance measures should we pay attention to in the daily use of the X-ray fluorescence melting machine? First, a crucial point is to ensure that the instrument is free of dust during use and is kept in a temperature-stable environment without significant temperature fluctuations. The working environment should also be moisture-proof, corrosion-resistant, and shockproof. Regular dust removal from the high-voltage generator is also necessary. We recommend a thorough cleaning once or twice a year. This thorough cleaning involves disassembling the outer cabinet cover and cleaning the inside of the cabinet, including the power supply, circuit boards, and other components. This is to prevent dust from causing various circuit or signal failures. When the instrument is not used for more than an hour, set the X-ray fluorescence melting machine to standby mode. When the instrument is not used for more than two weeks, turn it off.
After testing, when recovering samples, the sample holder needs to be cleaned with anhydrous ethanol, and the sample stage should be regularly cleaned with a rubber bulb. The cooling water pipes inside the X-ray fluorescence melting machine are relatively thin. After prolonged use, scale may form inside the pipes, reducing the flow rate of the circulating cooling water. Therefore, the circulating cooling water must be distilled water.
