Continuous casting flux is a common phenomenon and need in our daily life and production. This can also be considered common sense. So we all know what the protective conditions are.

5. The viscosity of continuous casting flux mainly depends on the composition of the protective slag and the temperature of the slag. Generally speaking, the viscosity of the slag can be controlled at a flat level by adjusting the basicity of the slag.
7. In order to obtain high-quality castings without bonding and steel leakage, it is necessary to select continuous casting flux with appropriate viscosity.
8. Fast slag formation speed, can timely supplement the rapidly consumed slag, and can still maintain sufficient consumption of protective slag under high or low pulling speed environment;
9. The powder gambling in continuous casting is evenly distributed, preventing the outer shell from directly contacting the continuous casting to reduce friction and prevent uneven heat dissipation of the continuous casting;
10. Ensure the appropriate thickness of the continuous casting flux to prevent the uniform inflow of the continuous casting flux from being affected by high casting speed or large fluctuations in liquid level;
11. Stable operation performance, good ability to absorb inclusions in molten steel, and stable performance of continuous casting flux after absorbing inclusions;
12. When the casting speed is high and the change of casting speed is large, the continuous casting flux has stable melting performance and heat control ability.
