In a vacuum heat treatment furnace, severe cases may produce arc discharge, burning out electric heating elements, insulation layers, etc., causing major accidents and losses. Therefore, the operating voltage of the electric heating elements of the assay furnace generally does not exceed 80-100 volts. At the same time, effective measures should be taken in the structural design of the electric heating elements, such as avoiding certain components as much as possible, and the distance between electrodes should not be too narrow to prevent the occurrence of glow discharge or arc discharge.

  1. When using for the first time or after long-term disuse, it is necessary to carry out drying treatment inside the furnace, and then use the furnace at the standard power according to the instructions. If the furnace is not dried, it will cause excessive expansion and contraction and cracking inside the furnace and at the door, affecting the subsequent use of the equipment.

  2. Check if there are any harmful substances in the furnace chamber. If so, they need to be removed promptly. Assay Furnace Thoroughly clean the furnace chamber before and after each use, which can extend its service life to a certain extent.

  3. All the terminals inside the temperature controller and the power connection lines between the furnace body and the temperature controller must be tightly twisted to avoid poor contact.

  4. Ensure that the silicon carbide heating element is dry and increase the resistance slowly. In order to extend the service life of the silicon carbide, pay attention to not making the temperature inside the furnace too high, and replace the oxidized silicon carbide in time.

  5. During use, ensure that there is no conductive dust, explosive gas, or corrosive gas that can seriously damage metal and insulation around. Do not place damp, flammable, or explosive items in the furnace for baking. Keep the temperature controller at least 30cm away from the furnace body. Handle the heated materials gently to prevent friction from damaging the furnace chamber.
