Fire Assay It is not only an ancient method for enriching gold and silver, but also an important method for analyzing gold and silver. Fire Assay Geological, mining, and gold and silver smelting plants at home and abroad use Fire Assay as a reliable analytical method and widely apply it to production. Some countries have Fire Assay designated as a standard method, and China has also designated it as the national standard method for the determination of gold in gold concentrates, copper concentrates, jewelry gold, and composite gold. With the development of science and technology, more and more new technologies for analyzing gold and silver have emerged, and analytical instruments have become more and more advanced. Compared with other methods,

  (1) Representative sampling. Gold and silver are often unevenly distributed in samples at the Fire Assay The sampling method generally takes 20-40g, and even up to 100g or more than 100g. Therefore, the sample is representative, and the sampling error can be reduced to a lower limit.

  (2) Wide adaptability. It can be applied to almost all types of samples, from ore to mixed gold, Fire Assay can accurately determine gold and silver, including stibnite, which cannot be solved by current wet chemical analysis. For the main component analysis of pure gold, satisfactory results can also be obtained by fire assay. Except for a few samples, this method is applicable to almost all types of minerals.

  (3) High enrichment efficiency, reaching more than 10,000 times. A small amount of gold and silver can be quantitatively enriched from tens of grams of samples containing a large amount of matrix elements into the test button. Even if micrograms of gold and silver are enriched, the loss is very small, generally only a few percent. Due to the simple composition of the particles (or enriched slag), it is beneficial to use various testing methods for determination in the future.

  (4) Reliable and accurate analysis results. For many years, some scholars at home and abroad have attempted to completely replace Fire Assay with new wet chemical analysis or instrumental analysis, but have failed so far.
