Due to high frequency Fusion machine It is currently used less frequently, and there are currently the following main misunderstandings in cognition. We will compare it with an electric heating fusion machine for corresponding explanation:

  1. Temperature control accuracy does not meet the requirements

Compared with electric Fusion machine heating, high-frequency fusion machines do not have an advantage in temperature control accuracy. However, the current application of infrared temperature measurement does not need to use the old contact temperature measurement, and the temperature control accuracy is getting higher and higher, especially high-frequency fusion machines can reach ±1℃. In the case where the actual melting temperature is generally above 1000 degrees, it can already meet the needs of daily sample preparation.

  2. Inconsistent temperature at each workstation

This is because the heating and temperature control system of some manufacturers' high-frequency melting sample machines refers to the heating and temperature control system of electric melting sample machines, resulting in inaccurate temperature measurement at each workstation. Currently, each workstation of the high-frequency melting sample machine adopts independent heating and independent temperature measurement, and truly reflects the actual temperature of the workstation.

  3. Not suitable for large-scale sample preparation

This is because multiple workstations can lead to inconsistent temperatures at both ends or multiple ends of high-frequency melting samples. Existing high-frequency melting samples are mostly two workstations, which is less efficient than the four or even six workstations of electric heating melting samples. In fact, the problem of workstation temperature control is solved, and this problem is also solved. Currently, high-frequency melting machines can achieve six workstations. Combined with the advantages of the high-frequency melting sample body heating speed, it can reach 10min/batch.

  4. Crucibles are easily damaged

The statement that crucibles are easily damaged by high-frequency heating is incorrect. In fact, the damage to the crucible is mainly caused by the corrosion of oxidizing substances in the sample. You can familiarize yourself with the properties of the sample in advance and reduce the damage of oxides through pre-oxidation. The high-frequency melting machine adopts a casting method to protect the crucible as much as possible.

  5. Waste material on the bracket

Slagging is mainly caused by the oxidation of the alloy bracket, but currently, compared with electric heating melting sample machines, high-frequency melting sample machines have adopted high-temperature ceramics instead of high-temperature alloys as brackets. It can completely avoid the oxidation of the alloy bracket and the situation of slag contaminating the sample.

  6. Requires external circulating water

Compared with electric heating Fusion machine High-frequency melting requires matching circulating water, but currently, a special small water chiller can be used, and pure water can be added once for long-term use, and no external circulating water is needed.
