   Melting Point and Melting Rate Tester Primarily used to measure the melting properties of solid materials, mainly including the measurement of materials:

  1. Melting Point: The temperature at which a solid directly transitions to a liquid. It reflects the type of bonds primarily constraining the substance.

  2. Melting Rate: The speed at which the solid-liquid interface changes over time during the process of a solid becoming a liquid. It reflects the strength of the interaction.

  3. Melting Process Curve: Records the entire melting process of a material under certain conditions, observing the characteristics of melting.

  4. Comparative Melting: Measurement and comparative analysis of the same substance with different raw materials and processing methods.

  The measurement principle is mainly to place the solid sample to be tested in a constant temperature oven, and then use a trigger to record its temperature and time at the time of melting.

  Commonly used determination methods include:

  1. Constant Heating Rate Method: The sample is heated at a constant rate, and the temperature and time data at the time of melting are recorded.

  2. Optical Method: A light beam passes through the sample. When the sample melts, the light intensity changes abruptly, and the temperature is recorded.

  3. Resistance Method: The curve of the sample resistance changing with temperature is measured to determine the resistance and temperature at the time of melting.

  4. Fluorescence Method: The change in sample fluorescence intensity with temperature is measured to determine the melting temperature.

  5. Mettler Measurement Method: Observe the melting process of the sample under a microscope to determine its melting point.
