Each machine must be operated strictly according to the operating procedures during use. This is not only for the maintenance of multiple machines, extending their lifespan, but also for the safety protection of operators. What should be noted before using an X-ray fluorescence melting machine?

As we all know, the X-ray fluorescence melting machine is a professional supporting equipment for the fusion method of X-ray fluorescence analyzer. It adopts a touch screen control method, with a user-friendly interface and simple operation. The machine has a high degree of automation and is widely used in sample preparation in the steel, chemical, geological, metallurgical, cement, and ceramic industries, as well as in the detection of refractory materials. The X-ray fluorescence melting machine features fast heating, precise temperature control, energy saving, and stable operation, with a maximum temperature of 1100℃, making it effective for melting refractory materials. The selection and use of crucibles for the X-ray fluorescence melting machine are also crucial. When using it, note that the X-ray fluorescence melting machine cannot process halogens or substances that can release halogens in platinum containers, as ferric chloride solution has a significant corrosive effect on platinum. Furthermore, platinum crucibles must not come into contact with any other metals during heating. All platinum containers should be heated or burned in an electric furnace or gas lamp's oxidizing flame, and must not come into contact with smoky flames or the inner cone of the flame to prevent the formation of brittle platinum carbide.

Safety precautions during the use of the X-ray fluorescence melting machine are mandatory for both manufacturers and users. First, the instrument must be grounded, which is crucial. The instrument has its ground wire connected to its casing to ensure safety. During operation, do not directly observe the high-temperature furnace with the naked eye, as the hot gas and radiation can damage the eyes, causing unnecessary harm. Before starting the melting process, make sure the furnace door is closed. During the melting process (while the furnace is moving), never open the furnace door or place hands or other objects near the door to prevent injury and damage caused by the furnace movement! When opening and closing the furnace door cover, do so gently to prevent the glass door from breaking. The furnace door cover can be removed as needed. For customers who use the X-ray fluorescence melting machine for more than 6 hours a day, the instrument top cover should be opened during operation. When placing and removing samples with crucible tongs, wear gloves. Exercise extreme caution when using crucible tongs to prevent burns, sample drops causing burns, damage to other items, and sample destruction.
